Box XL Houses received an honourable mention from Architecture Masterprize, an award that celebrates and showcases quality design and architecture on a global scale.

The honourable mention highlights the balance between mass and emptiness which, using two antagonistic concepts, forms a continuous dialogue. Functionality is also emphasised, due to the practical, fluid and versatile nature of the spaces created. Finally, the exterior is emphasised as a succession of pure volumes which, using raw materials, create a contrast with the natural elements in order to create a new landscape.
